Surveys Of The Bible:

The first group includes what we call Surveys of the Bible. These books examine the Bible as a whole. It helps someone to establish an overall understanding of God’s revelation through His Word of Truth. Some people are not familiar with the dispensational tool. When it is applied correctly, this tool helps the reader to see the divisions, dispensations, or ages in which God works to restore His Creation. Much like colleges courses have prerequisites to attending more advance classes, we recommend these surveys as a good place to begin. The commentaries will make more sense with this information. For people who to truly understand the Bible, these surveys will help them achieve this goal.

Commentaries:

The second group is comprised of Bible commentaries that take the reader through a book or books of the Bible verse-by-verse. They are expositional and explain the verses from the author’s experience. A commentary is never to be considered the same as Scripture. Scripture alone remains our only authority. However, these authors are experienced in rightly dividing the Word of Truth. They share with the reader with their insight for the interpretation of the verses. Every believer is called to be like the noble Bereans “in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, [to verify] whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11). They are designed as a aid or tool for your understanding.
